Trace Monoprint and Paper Lithography class at Center for Book Arts

Artists Books as (Sub)Culture exhibition at Center for Book Arts in NYC

Our Very own Tatana Kellner will be teaching a class at The Center for Book Arts this spring. The class is in conjunction with the show Artists’ Books as (Sub)Culture, curated by former WSW intern Natalie Campbell. This exhibition, which runs from January 15- March 28, 2009, “takes an in-depth look at the way artist-funded and artist-run organizations have combined a focus on book arts with a unique social mission” and features work from WSW.Tana’s workshop will explore two direct printmaking techniques-trace monoprint and paper lithography. This class is always popular at our Summer Arts Institute. Here is your chance to sample these two wonderfully low-tech techiniques!
