Alice in (WSW’s) Wonderland prints, very, very big, and very, very small—size is the focus of this workshop. Participants will learn how to make both Miniature prints and Full Scale prints using techniques of carborundum aquatint, plexiglass intaglio, and paper lithography. Students will adapt their mighty imagery to a mini size and their mini imagery to a mighty size. The goal for this class is for artists to expand the range of possibilities in their work when the scale is changed. We will make suites of prints in two sizes: miniature prints measuring 2” x 2” and bleed prints on 22” x 22” paper. Ultimately students may choose to fully pursue one way of working over the other.
