You can register for SAI by calling us at 845.658.9133, mail a completed (LINK) Registration Form with your $200 non-refundable deposit, or on line using PayPal. Once you have registered, you will be sent a confirmation email containing a receipt of payment and a materials list, if applicable. Your deposit will secure your spot in class until the tuition-due date. An early bird credit of $50 is available if you enroll before March 31. Early Bird Credit is not available for collaborative workshops with Center for Photography at Woodstock and R&F Handmade Paints, or for our workshops in Europe. All workshops have limited enrollment; early registration is recommended.
Any remaining tuition payment and lab fee will be due in full, one month prior to your workshop. A payment reminder will be emailed to students before the due date. If your payment is not received one month prior to your workshop, you may lose your spot in the class.
Lab fees cover some of the expendable materials and shared supplies and equipment. Most classes require you bring some additional materials from home with you. A materials list will be sent to you once your registration is received.
Wait List? After a class is full, a wait list will open and students will be placed on that list in the order that their registration is received. If a space becomes available, wait-listed students will be notified. Deposits will be returned for wait-listed students who are not enrolled in the class.
Scholarships are available to a limited number of students based on financial need. Application and supplemental materials are due May 1. Recipients will be notified by email by June 15.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you must cancel more than 30 days before your class is scheduled, your tuition will be refunded in full, minus the non-refundable $200 deposit.
If you must cancel less than 30 days prior to the workshop start date: the following refund policy applies: 2 or 3 weeks prior to workshop: 50% of tuition will be refunded, minus $200 deposit. 1 week prior to workshop: No Tuition or deposit will be refunded.
If Women’s Studio Workshop has to cancel a class for any reason, deposit and tuition will be refunded in full, or can be transferred to another workshop. Classes need a minimum of 4 students to run, students will be given 4 weeks notice if a class will be cancelled for under-enrollment. WSW is not responsible for non-refundable airline tickets purchased by students.
